Blog 4 | I watched the silence unfold.

Such a simple question.

Who cares?

Maybe it was too predictive?

Doctors, Nurses, Care Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physios... I could go on...

But it's a question I've asked myself for a long time now. Since my redundancy, leaving the NHS after 39 years, I've realised that there's a whole world 'Beyond the NHS,' as I now say.

And what I've noticed is that in this world, in these spaces, are so many other people doing the right things. Things that matter to people. Things that create health and well-being. Things that complement our ecosystems. Working in and with these ecosystems.

Being creative, constructive, using things that might seem irrelevant Phil Ward.

Making the inaccessible accessible. Giving people the eyes to see the assets around them and the confidence to access and use them James Metcalfe.

So....

I look beyond the NHS.

I look beyond our services.

Come with me, step inside the great glass elevator.

Look at the trees

Look at the open spaces

Look at our buildings, our heritage, our people.

Listen.

Be curious.

Then see the assets...

Be creative..
