I always wanted to be a nurse, because I cared and wanted to make people better.
Then one day I realised that I wasn't sure what 'better' was!
Does this blog resonate with you?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and reflections.
Share them I might weave these into my Tuesday Tumble, other future blogs or podcasts, with a shout out, of course.

Great questions - what is 'better'? Who is it 'better' for?
I find that we all.go into healthcare to help people, but then quickly become disillusioned potentially, with a few different possible outcomes - burn out, moving into other careers or trying to improve what we already have while battling the many challenges that come with working in today's NHS.
Sadly, better isn't always in line with the agenda, policies, protocols, I find.
Also, what about 'doing the right thing'? This isn't necessarily 'better' in the patient's eyes or according to the system....
