Blog 19 | “We can say we know, but have we learnt?”
Such a timely and provocative question.
Offered by (2) Rachel Baker | LinkedIn a participant at our co-creation workshop this week, has stayed with me.
Workforce transformation isn’t a technical exercise.
It’s relational.
It’s iterative.
And it’s intrinsically linked to learning with and from the people we support and care for.
Systems don’t transform through knowing alone.
They shift when knowledge is metabolised,
when it’s tested,
shared,
and re-seeded.
Inclusive, participatory learning systems
foster co-creation,
lead to transformation,
and achieve locally tailored services that care with intelligent kindness.
Integrated Care Boards and Advanced Foundation Trusts, take note.
If surplus is to become stewardship,
and autonomy to become accountability,
then learning must be the system’s heartbeat.
